ATLANTA, GA (June 1, 2008)- Zertia celebrated its ninth anniversary on June 1, 2008. From its origins as a web hosting provider offering free web site design, the company has grown to be one of the leading business technology solutions providers in the Atlanta area.

"We started out in 1999 offering free website design in exchange for a long-term hosting contract,” said Dan Kehoe, Zertia President. "At the time, the name of the company was ‘Getting U Online.’ We decided to change it once we realized that when we called a potential client, the caller ID cut off the last letters so the display would read, "Getting U On.’” He changed the name to Zertia in 2001.

The company name was only one of the big changes during that time. "That was when we began shifting the focus from hosting to the development of database-driven, dynamic websites,” said Kehoe. In a relatively short time the company had become known for its expertise in software development, e-commerce, CRM and content management systems (CMS).

Zertia can boast a list of more than 500 local, national and international clients including firms such as UPS, Outback Steakhouse International, Holiday Inn Express, Seagram, Nortel and the State of Georgia.

In a nod to the company’s recently added open source strengths, Sugar CRM has named Zertia its southeastern integration and professional services partner. "This coincided nicely with our anniversary. We’re looking forward to a strong tenth year with more exciting news to come” Kehoe said.
